Overview:
Nexus Maximus is a design competition focused on the collaboration between different majors/ professions to solve current problems going on in the world today. Over the course of three days, our team designed and proposed an urban layout (with the help of IKEA refugee shelters) that would help give refugees with stability, normality, and a sense of community it their lives. In turn, we hope that these efforts would help them reclaim their identities and give them a sense of place while they are in a state of limbo.
